DEFOAMER AND ANTI-FOAMING AGENT   FOR POWDER SYSTEMS DEFOMEX

AP 188 is a defoamer and anti-foaming agent in powder form, for neutral and alkaline   systems like gypsum and cement based systems.

FIELDS OF APPLICATIONS

DEFOMEX AP 188 avoids and/or reduces the foam formation during the preparation and the   application of the compounds and can destroy the persistent foam too.   Therefore during the preparation of i.e. special repair mortars, self-levelling systems, flooring   screeds, crack fillers, the use of DEFOMEX AP 188 ensures to reduce the secondary effects due to   high levels of entrained air, like decreasing some mechanical properties, such as compressive strength   (Source: CHEMICAL ADMIXTURES FOR CONCRETE).
